Serving the Tea Industry since 1968 !

DESIGN:
Uniquely designed pucca tea sorter renders galloping motion which is not available in any other tea sorters. Such motion saves tea, while travelling on the screen, from shuffling and becoming grayish.

HOPPER:
The feed hopper is fixed on main L H & R H pedestals. As such the stored teas into the hopper, do not get grinded and results to saving the bloom. A beater provided on the tray-assembly creates a little vibration on teas through a rubber diaphragm forming lower slop of the hopper. The action assists even flow of tea without obstruction.

TRAYS:
The trays are made of seasoned teak   wood fitted with wire mesh, all the 5 trays are of same size. Therefore, these are inter-changeable. The first two trays have rubber bouncing balls arranged in rubber cord, fitted on the bottom. These balls strikes the wire mesh very gently at every stroke of crank. So, the wire meshes do not clog

DRIVING BALANCED DRUM:
The drum mounted on the top plate is balanced in relation to the sifting tray, as such the machine consumes hardly 0.5 H.P.  though a 1 HP electric motor is provided to cope with the initial torque.

Salient Features

  • Strongly built cast iron pedestals and top plate to provide long life to the equipment.
  • Teas do not shuffle but travel in series of hops, thus bloom is saved.
  • Feed hopper design, as explained, insures even flow of ungraded teas. It is well controlled.
  • Trays are inter-changeable instantly.
  • Bouncing balls avoids clogging of meshes.
  • Silent blocks keep the machine noiseless throughout its life.
  • Power consumption negligible.
  • Trays available in different mesh sizes as required.
